A couple weeks ago I was working for a friends mother doing catering, it was about $25 dollars a hour for 4-5 hours to cook food reserve plates refill drinks etc: on my way to top off some drinks and make some bar food i overhear people talking about “how gen-z just doesn’t want to work” this made me angry seeing that I was working so hard to make ends meet for my family (we have been struggling with expenses) just to make ends meet. I didn’t say anything though just thought I would share. (Btw he was a old rich white guy)
