We've all worked for a company that included “ping pong table and snacks” under the benefits sections in their job posting.
I'm not a business owner so I'm not sure why they refuse to offer half-decent health benefits, but is it really ALL about the extra budget? I feel like offering extensive benefits would be an incredible investment because then you'd be bringing in top talent.
Anyway, I read this article and it made me stop and think for a moment because I feel like it touched on some good points regarding benefits plans: https://brightmatterhr.com/knowledge-centre/blogs/do-your-benefit-plans-lineup-with-what-your-employees-want/
