For jobs that clearly list expectations, benefits, compensation, etc. 90% of the time it’s fairly painless to shoot out your resume from LinkedIn etc, but I keep seeing a pattern of these jobs with terrible and insulting compensation take themselves soooo seriously.
There’s a high end boutique near me that has such a ridiculously high bar to entry — you need a master’s degree, wear all kinds of hats, always be available, submit cover letter, several rounds of interviews. You’d think after all that at least they’d offer benefits or competitive pay? Nope! They are well known for wage theft and minimum wage without commission!
Where do these dogshit companies get the audacity to be so hostile about compensating employees appropriately while also making it more difficult to even apply than far superior jobs?
