So I started working for this company about 2 months ago, and have worked everyday without callouts my first month. I tried calling off one day because my grandfather passed but there was no one there so I had to go in. Now today I was on break at home and my cat who I just adopted gets out of the house. I’m outside trying to find him and text work I’m going to be late. My general manager calls me and acts like I’ve wronged him.
