Why is my boss who fired me a months ago stalking me on LinkedIn constantly?

I must say, my new job since May has been amazing! There's no micromanaging, no nitpicking—just positive feedback. It has been two months, and I couldn't be happier. The only downside is that I've become somewhat lazy, spending about 80% of my day on Reddit. It's a small family-owned business where I work as an accountant, and the benefits are fantastic.
