Not only her, but also my other former boss has been consistently viewing my LinkedIn profile in the past few weeks.
Recently, I received another notification informing me that both of my former bosses, who fired me in May but provided a decent severance, are stalking me on LinkedIn.
Is it appropriate for me to message them and ask them to stop viewing my profile? It infuriates me even more that they had the audacity to fire me simply because I didn't conform or tolerate their micromanagement. I was essentially terminated because, during my performance review, I made the mistake of advising them to have private conversations when they asked for my input. I learned my lesson, but since then, they were subtly trying to push me out, and a few months later, they fired me and offered severance while I already had another job lined up. The joke was on them.
I must say, my new job since May has been amazing! There's no micromanaging, no nitpicking—just positive feedback. It has been two months, and I couldn't be happier. The only downside is that I've become somewhat lazy, spending about 80% of my day on Reddit. It's a small family-owned business where I work as an accountant, and the benefits are fantastic.
