I did two phone interviews. They really liked me per their feedback. I finally met with the person that had interviewed me on the phone the second time and then they emailed me saying they’d email with updates a week out. Then, after two weeks ,they email me saying they’re going to move forward with another candidate.
What irks me is the during the interview he future faked and said terms like your office will be in room a yada yada and training probably on these days blah blah blah. Why don’t they just let me know that they don’t want me before they bring me in?
I “looked professional” and thought we hit it off. I don’t see why the in person interview ruined everything.
