i also posted this in legal advice UK, but i was hoping maybe someone here would have some insight.
I have been offered a job at a bartender in a normal London bar – there is no extra strenuous or physical element to the work. They gave me a pre employment medical questionnaire that wants me to sign something allowing them access to my medical records. Why would they want this?? Surely any communication between my GP and employer can take place through me? I am very hesitant to sign because it just seems extremely shady.
They also want me to sign something to opt out of the working time regulations 1998, if anyone could advise me a bit on that as well i would really appreciate it.
