Work are introducing new ‘net zero’ objectives for colleagues whilst simultaneously trying to force everyone back into the office

Upon telling them that the two are clearly incompatible since our work can clearly be done remotely (as has been the case for nearly 3 years now), I was told that colleagues travelling to and from the office doesn't count towards net zero goals – despite the fact that it clearly bloody does and would, in fact, be the largest single contributor to my work-related carbon footprint in the event that I have to travel to work now.
