Work culture is draining me

Co-workers eat breakfast and lunch together, sometimes the occasional coffee/cake someone brings and it’s near “mandatory” thing to sit with them. They greet each others with hugs and kisses. I never thought that I was drained because of this “socialising” until everyone was on leave, except me and three other people and realised how calm and well rounded the place was for one whole week. We were working, and occasionally chatting, and that’s it. With everyone around I get the pressure of chatting and interacting, the lab was empty the offices were empty, no one was whining about how much work they have.
