So I want to preface this with the fact I am following my dream career now, I love my job in research and despite it not being a permanent position I don't think I could be at a more enjoyable place now. But I always hear two phrases: “work in a job you love and you won't work a day in your life” or “work in a job you love and you won't rest a day in your life”. Where do you all think the balance is? Am I being scammed doing a job I enjoy into wasting my life? Or if I genuinly enjoy it and would probably want to do something similar even if I was a billionaire is it a good situation?
