I’m sick of hearing the toxic comments, especially from people in position of power, calling their workers and workplace their “second family.”
We are all replaceable.
Family members, when they’re lost, aren’t.
For American workers, just remember that this Independence Day weekend before you go and check your email. If you left your job tomorrow, you’d be replaced in days. Whether you are a son, mother, grandmother, or something else in between; enjoy your family. Because your “second family” isn’t what matters.
