Work let me go after not scheduling me for two months

TL;DR I worked at one of the big three truck stops in the US and they stopped scheduling me after March 24. They left me on the payroll but allowed me to go inactive in the system and it terminated me. Here's a bigger picture. I worked for a large truck stop chain and after March 24, they stopped scheduling me. I could still access the app on my phone, access my fuel and meal discounts, but yesterday I noticed I couldn't; a coworker informed me that I had been terminated because management let me become inactive in the system. I was told I wasn't being given hours (by my boss at the time, two more people have filled out this position in two months) it was because I “told a customer I'd rather shoot myself than be there”. That is absolutely 100% not true. What do I do?
