So new policy at work is that we need all our vacation days booked by the first week of July. Kind of annoying but no problem. I'm a processing lead so getting time off can be hard. Anyways I have 16 days to book (I thought I had way less) and submit my requested days only for it to get denied. I do this again about 5 times and its denied each time missing the deadline. Now I'm being told disciplinary action will be take against me for missing the deadline. My work Is unionized so I'm not worried about this at all. If they want to be jerks then ill just grieve it and waste everyone's time and a bunch of their money but what the fuck man?
Edit: I probably should clarify this happened a couple weeks ago and my vacation has finally all been approved but I'm still awaiting my disciplinary action.
