So i am 18 and for the past year and 4months ive worked for this retail company. I currently have 3 jobs(sub shop, retail, hostess). At the reatil job i was originally getting paided 8 dollars an hour which was better than the 7.25 at subway when i was doing manager tasks while the adult was smoking weed in the back. But the crazies thing is 4month in to the job they told me in private i got a raise to 10 an hour. In my head im like sweet but it was a company thing and my mangers just wanted to make it look like they valued us. Now come as of september to now. I bust my ass and pick up shifts cause money is good to have, but they hired alot of new people for sesanol time and they dont do shit. So if they hear im working they dont do anything. But i just put in my 2wks and said fuck yall and just come in on scheduled days and do what i need and leave. The craziest thing is they hired a new person in a higher position(just before manager) and she has been trying to direct me cuz the manager say she can. I dont respect her in her position but im not rude. I just think they are a lost cause. The other 2 jobs value me and pay well and i give them my all and if i ever need time off or anything they are glad to do what they can.
