Not a rant but it sucks. My last day off was the 25th. Originally asked for Christmas Eve off to be with my family and they rejected it. So I spent Christmas alone.
Now, our small team is down a member as he’s got covid and doesn’t do his job very well. Thursday was my original day off but had to come in because of this. The day before, same coworker showed up 30 minutes late
It’s New Years Day and we are the only store open. Only two customers today and guess what? I’m on day 7 of 10 of consecutive work days. Head office never made an action plan nor did they reach out to other stores for help.
I am feeling burnt out from all of this.
