Would appreciate perspectives on how you all get by with mindless office jobs.

Most of my life I've avoided the 9 to 5. I've taken bartending jobs, smoke shops, even a vet clinic once. Now , I'm in one. I really do enjoy the job. Its the best job I've ever had and I'm crawling out of my skin sitting in the same position all day, hearing the same music stations, knowing we all feel the same and none of us have enough PTO to leave on a whim just to go home and relax. The weekends almost seem bleak having not enough time to even look forward too. I know I should be grateful to have a good paying job with benefits in an area where they are hard to find close to home. But I'm struggling to be content. How do you get along with your desk jobs, in a capitalistic hellscape knowing retirement is laughable and you just want to…
