“You earn more by spending less”

This is a common saying among well off people that are trying to “motivate” people that are looking to make more money. As this is true, a lot of them say you have to get rid of the majority of luxury items and spend the bare minimum… That brings a few points. A lot of people are already spending the bare minimum they have because they already don't have much. How is this advice good for these people? With that advice, people already spending $10 a day should be Rollin around in money. And 2. You basically have to live without fun. Not spending money on leisure things when you're already barely able to afford leisure things is like a slap in the face. People already have to slave away at jobs, sometimes even multiple, just to make ends meet. So you're telling me the only way to become financially…

This is a common saying among well off people that are trying to “motivate” people that are looking to make more money. As this is true, a lot of them say you have to get rid of the majority of luxury items and spend the bare minimum…

That brings a few points.

So you're telling me the only way to become financially successful is to cut everything out? People should be able to have some leisure time and should be able to have some kind of fun without having to resort to spending pennies a day.

Telling people that are already having difficulties enjoying life and having anything in life to just “spend less than what you're barely making” and never have any fun for years.. maybe you'll be able to reach $100,000″. Like it makes sense but it's bullshit. We shouldn't have to sacrifice the lil things in life that makes us happy just for a possibility of becoming richer. Making money shouldn't be this impossible yet it is. I know a lot of people doing well off and I don't even know how tf they did it (most won't tell or help you, especially if you're bot a 'friend'). A lot of people sell weed, a lot are into cryptocurrency, and some people I just don't understand how they're 20 something years old riding around in a nice car, having all these nice clothes and houses and shit.. n I'm 26 still living with my moms. Shit sucks seeing but I'm happy for em.. just wish people weren't so selfish and self absorbed where they can't help or put anyone on..

But this whole idea that “spending less money could make you rich” makes sense but it's bullshit we have to even resort to getting rid of anything that makes us and our lives happy just to focus on saving pennies so we could become rich. Shit how about these people just tell us how to make good ass money? Ive been unable to get and keep a job. Depression and anxiety has me not even wanting to try and I hate it because I'm always broke.
