You know what irks me?

Thought of this today: take a random small- mid size town, and everyone else in the world disappeared, the townspeople would like come together to ensure essential things (food supply, shelter, clothing, basic necessities) to make sure everyone at least survives. In modern large scale society (I know I know, we live in a society) people are generally okay with (and sometimes set policy or actively push for/etc) knowing their neighbor might be cold or starving or homeless, generally might be suffering. The world profits off of killing some off slowly for the benefit of the few. And so many have been brainwashed into thinking helping someone in need leads to your detriment. Rant over, love each other yall
