I worked for a major airline. Think of the one from Atlanta. My job was being a supervisor for the Flight Attendants. I would typically work 3-11p or 4-12m. As I’m about to leave one night my boss wants me to follow up with a customer complaint. A guy on my team. I’m about to go home. And this guy is on vacation. I have to call him at 11p and get his side of the story. (It was a complaint about a damn salad) I look into it further and realize my idiot bosses did not consider time zones. The complaint was from a passenger on a different flight. They forgot I’m keen to details. The next day I point it out and made them look like asses. My career there ended shortly thereafter. Fine by me. Don’t make me call people on their off time in the middle of the night. Nothing is that damn important.
