“You need to follow up with this now! (10pm)

I worked for a major airline. Think of the one from Atlanta. My job was being a supervisor for the Flight Attendants. I would typically work 3-11p or 4-12m. As I’m about to leave one night my boss wants me to follow up with a customer complaint. A guy on my team. I’m about to go home. And this guy is on vacation. I have to call him at 11p and get his side of the story. (It was a complaint about a damn salad) I look into it further and realize my idiot bosses did not consider time zones. The complaint was from a passenger on a different flight. They forgot I’m keen to details. The next day I point it out and made them look like asses. My career there ended shortly thereafter. Fine by me. Don’t make me call people on their off time in the middle…
