Today i found a new example of why people who claim a 15 dollar minimum wage would jack up inflation are full of themselves. That example is actually a location i’m applying for, my Bank’s Cafe. They charge just as much as Starbucks for coffee, except they pay 16.50 starting wage, while Starbucks only pays roughly 11 an hour (did some research on average pay of Starbucks Barista’s here in Ohio, it goes anywhere from 9 dollars to 11 something from what i’ve found). Both companies charge the same for coffee, yet have a five dollar difference in what they pay employees, and that is not counting tips in either case. Just figured you all would want to hear my discovery
