I work at a fairly decently sized company. Been here for over a year and they raise time came around. After my review I was told the raise I would be getting is 2%. The max anyone could've gotten was 4%. That came to a $.42 an hour raise. This company produces 6 figure cnc machines. They make so much money and are super top heavy. Here in Canada, cost is living is insane. The minimum wage just went up $1.60 and inflation is through the fucking roof. I wanna go to my HR and demand they give a $2.60 raise on top of the $.42c. It's bullshit how after a year of working and everything getting more expensive, they can just say “fuck you” work more OT if you wanna make more.
