How many of you decided to go to college for a career? I know it’s a personal decision but the idea of giving that much of my time to school and then work is dreadful to me. Have you tried or are you interested in a commune? In todays market I think at least finding some people to get a lease with is the most realistic, for me. Which sucks because my goal was to live alone, I love personal space. Has anyone here successfully made enough money fast to retire like before 30? If so how did you do it? Today I was working in the office and not from home :(. I was sitting here and a weird pop up came up saying Remote Desktop Connection – rjones wants to connect. Ok or cancel. If no response within 30 seconds it will be canceled. Was this a hacker or someone in my company trying to spy on me and what I'm doing? Do I need to triple productivity now?

Where I work, if we meet expectations and make a profit, we get a raise between 0% and 3% of our current salary. At my salary 3% isn't even $1/hr. Given that I am the only one who does my job, and we can't seem to hire anyone willing to travel or work here, there is no hope for getting any assistance. Recognizing this, my boss and another higher up submitted a request to get me a bigger raise. HR responded by saying that I'm already compensated for what I do because I get paid for overtime. So I can basically make as much as I want as long as I give up any shred of a personal life that I have left. Hey guys I live in Ontario Canada and my employer is asking for documentation to prove my absence from work. The reason was a vet emergency so I will be providing the bill for the service. What I want to know is can they require such documents or can I refuse it without worry of repercussions?

tw animal death, proposed cruelty to animals So we have a problem in our neighborhood with these 2 dogs getting loose. They're aggressive dogs, they attacked and killed a small dog and somehow the owners were allowed to get them back. These dogs are menaces, cops won't do anything (shocker, I know). They get out periodically and we just sort of have an agreement that we all warn each other about these dogs. Even people who can't stand each other are decent enough about that.
