Just what the title says. I’m doing training right now from home on a computer provided by the company. I have my pajamas on, a window open and a candle lit. Why have I been suffering through retail since highschool???

Some context, I am a millennial who grew up in a middle class family until my parents got divorced when I was 13. I’ve struggled with careers, never had a savings account, and barely scrape by in my life. My dad and step mom are very wealthy in comparison, but hold resentment against me for being ‘poor.’ They never invite me over or talk to me at all, almost like they are embarrassed about me. They just sold their house for 3 million and bought another for 3.5 million so they had me come over and pick some furniture, aka, things they didn’t want to move. I felt ashamed and degraded picking through ‘their trash’ as they were complaining to me about things in the real estate market and how they’ve always owned houses since they were my age etc. they have no idea what it’s like to live paycheck…

Backdrop. Long….sorry! I work Full time Salaried for Company “A” as The Maintenance Lead. My commute is 35 minutes in the morning and 25 coming home unless an accident then double it. This Company A is owned by two millionaires which are husband and wife oops I mean husband and Gold digger (she's 20 years younger than him) lol Anyhow this building they own and I work at is a lemon. Not just a lemon but a rotten come to the work and building is in rubble's bad. The owners are bi polar. Most days very nice and offering me a bonus. But also most days very cold and condescending. We've been through 3 property managers in the past 4 months. So its like groundhog day every month. The new company that just started said “you'll be a great asset to the team” newsflash beotch I've been the only mofo…

I turned that down, obviously. Now, the CEO (and this is a decent sized company) is literally calling me, emailing me and texting me telling me I’m making a mistake and to come join their company like a stage 5 clinger.
