What people don’t realize
If you don’t want a job, the best way to get out of it is investing in crypto currency. I made 50,000 in one year with crypto and I plan to retire by 50. The solution is to invest your money.
It's enough for two months' rental and foods, born rich so I never faced financial problems, now I have no family support anymore, I want some ideas from you guys, tell me your worst period of life how did you survive or tell me how to spend only 10 per week for foods without starvation…

Union busting
I’ve heard HR and my manager (happened yesterday) mention that if we tried to form a union they would shut the location down. I’ve recently found that this threat is illegal per the national labor relations act section 7. I wanted to share a quote from their website calling the following an unfair labor practice: “Threaten employees with adverse consequences, such as closing the workplace, loss of benefits, or more onerous working conditions, if they support a union, engage in union activity, or select a union to represent them” I actually got uneasy when the conversation started, but I will absolutely bring this up. Just thought this would be helpful to share.
I know this is dumb but I need advice. I am supposed to start my new job next week. Unfortunately, I caught COVID last week and I’m still showing as positive. My boss said that they don’t feel comfortable with me being in the office until I have tested negative. I completely understand that! But I’m wondering if this means that if my start date is moved because I can’t physically be in the office or if I’m going to be using PTO. I need to start making money as i just moved to the area and do not have savings to supplement my rent in the meantime. I don’t know how to ask that in a respectful manner? Any advice is appreciated.
Want to bitch to people who might get it
So I'm an equipment operator. Every one of us that works at the company is paid a different rate based on experience and when we were hired. A year ago we got a very lucrative contract for one of the biggest jobs in the country. Our boss had to hire some operators from out of state to move out here and fill in roles on this contract. They make somewhere in the neighborhood of $5 to $7/hr more then I do. At first this was no big deal to me. They were doing work I didn't want to do and working hours I didn't want to work. So the fact they made so much more didn't bother me, I wouldn't have wanted to do the work even if I made that much more. However now both of these guys have built a reputation for treating our equipment like shit. They've…
Am I wrong as a caregiver?
I’ve been doing caregiving as a main source of income for 5 years but this 6th years it’s actually became a side source of income since my business is taking off and I’m making 2x as much as I would be doing caregiving but I love the job. Now a situation happened in a rehabilitation center that made me realize the nurses have no respect for what I do and think it’s a waste of time. I make more than the CNAs doing caregiving but they’d constantly try to tell me what to do when working with my clients. Same for the RNs, head nurses, etc.. now I don’t work for them or their facility; I’m a guest from another company who has my own set of duties (each client is different and depending on my pay for the client). I was working a sitter shift & my care plan…
