This happened to my friend yesterday.
After 1 year at my job i asked for more money. Seemed reasonable as I had gotten glowing praise all year and worked my ass off to get the company a million dollar contract. I was told to “work on my communication” whatever that means. It was never an issue until I asked for more money. Kept working, minding my business getting my work done thought all was well. 6 weeks later get a demotion because I'm “unapproachable” Not one word of this was ever told to me. No one ever mentioned they had any issues with me. I'm sitting there dumbfounded as they tell me this. When I told coworkers what happened they were just as confused. I'm tired of being treated like garbage by bosses just because I keep more to myself but am still polite and cheerful if anyone needs anything from me or asks me for…
I'm so tired calling of and saying “I'm not feeling well” and people think I'm calling off because of an upset stomach. I called off of work this past Tuesday because I was really not feeling it, and I've got nothing but grievances for it. Like sorry I called off Kathy I wanted to kill myself and slinging pizzas was really not high on my priority list. Mental health is so overlooked in work culture and I'm tired of putting my well being on the line for 8.55 an hour.

I see posts about employees creating bots to fully automate their jobs. What if bosses see this and hire someone to automate most of these positions? Once the code is written, there is no need for someone to work these positions. Some people mention how easy it is to write code to achieve this. It seems like this will happen sooner or later because it'll be cheaper for companies in the long run. I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet when you hear about how easy it is. With people wanting to stay home to cut their costs, a company could retaliate and fully automate some positions. Companies/Corporations benefit more from it because: A) Bots don't need health benefits. B) Bots don't need time off. C) Bots don't get holiday pay. D) Bots require much less office space.

Si trabajan por salario y n Estados Unidos y no son parte del grupo de gerentes, entonces ustedes tienen derecho a pago Overtime oh tiempo extra pagado a x1.5 del tiempo regular, es ilegal que les paguen “80 horas” y ustedes trabajaron más de esas horas, esto se le conoce como “Wage theft” oh “robo de pago”, ay dos categorías, “exempt” y “non-exempt” los que son “exempt” usualmente son parte de “Management” oh los gerentes y a este grupo no se les paga Overtime oh “tiempo extra”, pero los trabajadores siempre serán “non-exempt” que significa que tienen derecho a pago overtime aunque sean pagados en base de salario(oh una cantidad fija cada cheque).
