I work as an in-house carer, I arrived at my client's home today to start my shift and the previous carer just told me, oh – client- has covid, and that no one told them either, and even after the other carer told management this was bad practice management didn't warn me either! I understand that i still need to do my job, but what if someone at my home was at high risk? Didn't i deserve to make that choice for myself? They say since people are supposed to be wearing masks anyway it doesn't make a difference, but when your job is so hands on i don't believe that is a good enough defense. What do you think?

We should improve society
I worked social media and digital marketing at a few major multinational companies and we definitely had shills online, could also be some twat just spreading FUD. Look out for the tell tale signs, of new accounts with a lot of negative comments in isolated subs, auto generated names, sometimes with medium to high karma despite being new accounts
Hey guys, hope you don't think I'm being rude but I'm gonna leave the chat because I'd rather find out about work related stuff at work, I did have it muted before but I still see a lot whenever I'm using my WhatsApp normally. I get that it's an easier method of communicating things but I don't check it enough to get the full updates. If there's ever just a normal chit chat group, I'll happily be part of that ️
How to Get a Market Adjustment?
My coworkers and I have been talking about how to get paid more because our company is seriously underpaying our department. I leave my LinkedIn open to recruiters and I had one reach out with the same type of position, except that it pays 50% more and is in a city 2 miles away where the cost of living is lower. I'm looking for thoughts about how best to convince management that a market adjustment is necessary? We're all happy working there, but I definitely wouldn't be opposed to moving for that much of an increase. We have several ideas already, but I just want to make sure we're not gonna get siderailed by something we didn't expect.
