I have been working with this company for almost two years now and have been doing the work of a manager for almost two years since our location doesn't have an assigned manager. I was pretty much forced to transfer due to some conflict of interest or would possibly face termination. To begin the transfer I was told I had to apply to the other location and then my transfer would begin. I applied to the position I am working right now but had noticed that there was a position for management at the other store so I decided to apply for that spot as well. I later received a call from HR and the first thing he told me was “Your district manager told us that you were interested in transferring to this location?” I responded by saying “I wasn't particularly interested but I assume termination is my other…

My boss called me fat
My boss said we’re “big” to me and my coworkers.(In our language-which is not English-it means fat)and she said because we’re all big, we looked like a bunch of athletes(looking like a athlete is a good thing but she meant offensive way) We’re all considerably skinny. Especially one of my coworkers is VERY skinny. Idk why she’s so bitter
so when’s the general strike?
I very under prepared and ill equipped for this current job, I'm planning to explain my situation to my boss/supervisor tomorrow via email. But I'm having thoughts they might fire me, after I send that email which I wouldn't be surprised either.
My time in a toxic work environment
So I (35 F) used to work as an assistant manager for a franchise as part of a well known pizza brand, let’s call it Crominos. My boss was 19 year old man-child. Very two faced. There was a number of problems working for him but the first red flags were that we had 3 managers with disabilities, myself included (I am autistic). The first manager began to have her hours cut because “she is sitting down constantly”, the reason she does this is because her disability causes her significant pain if she stands up for long periods of time. Once she was forced to find work at another store, our GM’s attention fell on the second manager who started getting his hours reduced. Same story as above. Then it was my turn. Before I went back in to active management after being away for a while I was picking…

The Art of Unification
Hey. So someone on another sub told me to present some sort of plan. I'm making a fool of myself but I decided to do it. I am writing this simply to unite the people and the masses; I use both of those terms for a reason. Reddit is an echo chamber; in order for us to do something and help Shanghai and in in ourselves we we must stop that. It is my desire that we begin to interact with one another in order to solve the crisis we face in 2022. Here, I present my argument of 12 different steps or aspects of a ” strategic analysis ” or precepts or whatever you'd like to call this that I've compiled together, that we may draw ideas from and build an idea of what we is to are to do. I will keep it as short as possible. In…
Hey all, as the title reads my office just called my personal number (I didn't answer and I also have a work phone) and asked me to come into work today or tomorrow morning to drop off tools. My wife is telling me to ignore it as I'm on annual leave. What would you do? It's a bit annoying that they're calling me to do this. I don't want to be thinking about work but it's all I can think about now.
