One of the receptionists resigned on the 4th of April and since then he didn't hire anyone. Today, I choose to resign since I got a better offer somewhere else plus I would finally be able to get away from the stress, anxiety depression, and gossip of this job. My boss counter proposed by saying he would increase my salary if I take more responsibilities. I told him that I am already overworked and cannot take the pressure anymore yet he replied by saying work is more important. When I informed him that my decision has already been made he told me that I was ungrateful and disloyal and that he doesn't want to see my face anymore.
