Am I lazy for wanting more down time?

At my current job, I work 48 hours week and it's very physical. Pretty much just walking and grabbing books off shelves, I easily get 30k steps. But there's two 15 minute breaks, a 30 min lunch, and another 10 minute break if you stay late. But the job pays based on how productive you are. So if I take 10 minutes pooping, I could lose out on money. I kinda hate this. I'd like maybe a few minutes here and there to relax/gather my thoughts throughout the day. Is this lazy? Do most jobs expect full productivity all day? I'm wondering what decent paying jobs I could switch to where there's more downtime. Also considering part time.

Toxic HR overplayed their hand. What can I do to make this as big of a problem as possible for them?

HR fired me over the phone on Wednesday for job abandonment because I left work early Saturday with permission from the manager on duty. This was coincidentally the day after I submitted a retaliation complaint to the company's third-party investigators. I received an email from them today asking if I can come into an onsite meeting to discuss the results of the investigation tomorrow. My inside scoop tells me the company's attorney determined that I shouldn't have been terminated and that HR are going to claim that they hadn't fired me on that phone call. The thing is I recorded that call. These guys have made the majority of my time there a nightmare and id like to return the favor. Do I have anything to work with here? Any Ideas for the best move to make this a pain in the ass for them?

Punished for my two weeks

TLDR: found better opportunities so I no longer starve because of low paychecks. Boss cut my hours after receiving my two weeks as he felt I disrespected him by mentioning better pay and benefits. Sorry for the rant. Going through it. Let me start by saying that I have job hopped frequently since COVID started due to necessity, homelessness, medical bills, etc. I've worked in fast food, retail, pharmacy, counseling, etc. I usually follow the best pay and hours in order to survive since I am still a college student. Absolutely none of my jobs have ever questioned, disrespected, or doubted my two weeks. They all thanked me for the formal letters I've written and some have even offered me promotions to keep me from leaving, told me to come back if I ever needed a job there, etc. I don't like burning bridges. I've won awards from a lot…

Mark my words…A Reckoning Is Coming!

The wage gap is to the point where the needy will get fed up and rise up! How can you work your ass off and not be able to afford food bc you’re paying for a roof over your head. Young adults, who weren’t born with a silver spoon, knowing that they will NEVER be able to afford a home. I can keep going on and on but I’m already mad. When you’ve been pushed to the edge and you realize that you are much stronger and fearless you will turn around and bring that person down with you. This world is a couple of years away from killing itself!

I left the job that I loved for over 7 years, a month ago today and I’ve never been happier

I worked for 7 years in a very niche market that is specific to my specialities and industry. It was the first job where I felt like I was valued, where my knowledge and expertise were highly sought after. I was a subject matter expert and a manager, and people came to me for advisement and things were great. For a while… A couple of years ago they hired a new manager and everything just went south. I went from loving my job to dreading every day. Soon I was pushed out of the position that had been created specifically for me, my department dismantled and I was stuck doing customer service. I hated it and my mental health deteriorated rapidly. Luckily I am very fortunate and privileged, and my partner is very supportive. I gave my two weeks notice and was dismissed two days later. Now I'm taking care…

Thanks for the million, here’s $2.

In retail, as always, the holiday season is crazy, but on this occasion it was 3 times crazier than usual, customers everywhere – stocking up due to a COVID outbreak – the very same COVID outbreak that caused our stores to be severely under resourced with staff. In the head office a small group of us dedicated ourselves to working many hours to try to backfill the major staff shortages, and while we couldn’t fix everything we did a pretty good job at helping the stores out. Due to the abundance of customers the business had a record month and turned over an additional $1million. Thankful of the effort the CEO sent gift baskets to all store staff to thank them for their hard work. When it was suggested that the team in the head office that worked long and stressful extra hours to help the stores with their staffing…

Why the fuck do companies not post the wage on their advertisements?! They’re wasting everyone’s time

Take down if this isn't allowed. I've been job searching for remote work for the past thirty minutes and I'm getting frustrated with how there's no salary or wage listed. They give a long list of requirements of what they need from you, but refuse to share exactly how much they'll compensate you in return. Who do they think is going to waste their time applying and interviewing for a position before even having the slightest idea of the salary. For fucks sake. I bet ya they're all scratching their heads wondering why no one is applying. At least, I hope people aren't wasting their time applying. Gosh, the shit we gotta put up with.
