Are disciplinary actions confidential documents?

My supervisors told me today that I can't share emails to HR that I sent out when those employees are involved in an incident , and that the write up I received today is confidential and that I can't share anything during the discussion with them. Is this legal? EDIT: No, there's no investigation . It has to do with not completing training on time.

Employment Gaps

Why is this even a question? I got laid off roughly a year ago and I've been feverishly applying to everything under the sun. Even low skill jobs whatever I NEED money right now. No luck. That question offends me because they elude to me not trying to look for work or I'm lazy. During the time off I took some online classes and learned new skills but it still doesn't seem to sit right with these people. Is it that people don't want to work or are mfs not hiring???? Rant over.

Illegal to talk wages according to our contract

I work for an IT temp agency. I’ve heard from two supervisors now that talking about wages is grounds for termination according to our contract. Most of the employees don’t really care, however, a few are really adamant about not discussing wages. I live in MN which is a pretty blue, pro-union state and our current job site only hires union maintenance and construction workers. How the fuck is this in our contract?

I’m supposed to do the same job for less money. I want to fight for my worth. My boomer parents say I shouldn’t.

I started the school year as an assistant teacher making 32k. The lead teacher left mid year, and as my newly hired co teacher wasn’t fully trained, I was temporarily promoted to lead. Salary increased to 36.5k. Lead teachers make 45-50k to start. Now. Admin says they love what I’ve done this year. But I’m still “not ready” to be a full lead. So they’ve made a position “in between” assistant and lead: associate teacher. My offered salary: 32.9k. I mentioned the pay cut to my principal and she came back with a new offer: 35k. I’ve been talking with my parents on how to navigate adults and professional life but now I’m so disappointed, both in them and my principal. How do they expect to keep good people with bullshit like this? I’m probably going to accept the job, to find a job in Not-Teaching while having a job.…
