I’m a disabled teenager which is something that apparently no employer has ever encountered in the history of working.

I work in Texas, so I already get next to no benefits or pay for working part time, but even though I said on my application that I’m disabled, I’m not disabled “enough” (I don’t “look like I’m disabled”) to get any help from my workplace. I was fired for switching shifts with my friend. My manager still expected me to work my shift after firing me. My friend texted me later that night telling me he’s quitting over what happened to me.
