I feel like In the last month Elon has become the biggest threat to workers rights. It feels like he is trying to make the US work force more like forced labor.

or their kids private school tuition or how they just bought the wife a new mercedes or how they're going to mexico for a two week vacay or their new boat point is, when business owners tell you they can't afford to pay their employees a fair wage, alot of the time they're lying through their teeth
Ok so I'm not volunteering to lead but rather asking that someone with the skill/time/will to start this. I've been thinking about housing and renting and mortgages and I think I have a reasonably doable idea. But it needs a lobbying angle to be successful: push all morgage applications to consider rental history as a significant factor in the undersigning decision. This is by no means the perfect answer but the best and most realistic one I can imagine actually being successful in the current system. I mean, Experian will let you incorporate your subscription and utility bill history if you ask for it, so why not rental history for mortgages. It has to be a more accurate indicator of risk than credit history, doesn't it?
I just wanna rant on this bullshit, trying to look for a job, I got interviewed the first time and they said that they’d call me back again, text comes that they’ll interview me at 3PM but I was out with my friends at the time and said that I would miss it and asked if they would reschedule, they respond with cancelling it entirely and give my slot to someone else, like can you believe this shit??? I asked politely to change the interview time as I was busy and they just give me up that quick, these mfs have got to understand that the world doesn’t revolve around them and that other people have lives
Please be mindful that I live in Spain and prices and salaries are different over here. Minimum wage is around 1000€ right now and this employer just offered me 950€ a month for working 10.5 daily hours for the whole summer. He told me I could earn extra if I sold a lot. He wants someone to manage his store on a touristic spot for the whole summer, and that would be my salary as a manager. He wanted me to work 7 days a week for the whole summer for less than 3€ an hour. He wanted me to work almost two full-time weeks worth of hours every week. I'm very low on money and chasing little gigs here and there so something stable, even if predatory, could have made my summer and gave me some financial stability to start over again in September. However, a very well-known family…
Negotiating Pay Offer
I need help! I’ve been offered a job. Same exact job I’ve done 3 years but different industry. I believe I’m worth 20k more than they’re offering (this is 10k more than I make now) PLEASE HELP ME negotiate this. I’m Sick of being taken advantage of. I’m more than capable and qualified Of this role. The industry aspect is 10% of the work knowledge required. I want the offer, but just not sure where to start. I work 2 jobs as it is, to work for less than I make now is a joke when I’ve spent years climbing to where I am…
Weather and Work
Totally hate it when I wake up to weather warnings of severe thunderstorms, hail, pelting rain, possible tornados, gusts of wind 90KM an hour. I'm still forced to work and in work. Show up to work to be told if no customer shows within 2 or 3 hours we can go home. To find that the first customer arrives at 2 and a half hours. To enter the store and say “I'm not afraid of no storm” And basically force me to stay another 5 hours because you iust couldn't mind your own frigging buisness and stay home. Losers who don't know how to live their lives outside browsing shops and work. Show up and screw me and our entire staff over. This is the only guy to show all day too. Didn't buy a thing but arrived just in time for my manager to say “totaso”
