As the title says. Not sure if it is right to post it here, as we are not exactly in “bad relations” in terms of work environment and salary (we are paid enough, but not enough to stay if a better opportunity comes in). But just want to share what happened earlier. And the funny part, boss emailed him few minutes after “the discussion”, telling him to refrain himself to say any unnecessary remarks or else next time he would be written up for “inappropriate behavior”. Our team was like, “why are you crying”. Lol.

I get it if you're taking a call or working with a customer. But if I'm just at my desk working on something, just let me have a fucking earbud in. I'm not bothering anyone and I can still hear people coming in and my phone ring. I don't understand why bosses refuse to let their workers have an ear bud in when they're not working with someone

I was in a PUBG squad with some randoms. Two of them were talking about how they hate trans people, and wish they could put them all on an island and bomb it. So I responded, I'd rather kill the wealthy. They insisted they needed the wealthy, otherwise they wouldn't have a job. Blew my mind. They'd kill perfect strangers who have nothing to do with them. But they'll protect the people actively screwing them over.

I was reading another post where an Image posted spoke about turning in a two weeks notice prior to quitting. Failure to do so would result in your final pay being lowered down to minimum wage. apologies for the ensuing confusion I worked for a telecommunications call center and they had something like this called “compliance pay.” So the way this worked was your base pay was 10/hr but if you worked your scheduled hours without missing a total of 2 hours of scheduled time from your two week total hours (I.e if you are scheduled to work 80 hours you are allowed to miss 2 hours of your scheduled time) you would earn a compliance bonus of 4 dollars an hour extra.
