I was listening to Angeles by Elliott Smith and I find that it really resonates with me in my experiences being mobbed out of a clerical, low wage position from a global corporation. It was a case of narcissistic leadership and they prided themselves on making people's lives hell until they wanted out. Whatever your hardships have been in regards to your work history, what was the soundtrack to it? I'm looking for songs that resonated, or were comforting and seemed to address your experience, not the song that got your head out of the situation. Thanks and sorry if this is the wrong sub for this.
I refuse to eat the rich.
I'm a vegetarian. So, I'll just have a salad while y'all eat the rich.
Really don't know much longer I can go on being defeated like this. It's like I'm not worth existing in this stupid society.
With everything going on
I was one of the ones unemployed during the housing market crash in the early 2010s and it’s starting to feel like it’s happening again, do y’all feel this way too?

Women didn't have a say in any of these models even though they make half of the population, for that matter neither did the majority of cultures or groups around the globe. Also, global literacy two hundred years ago was roughly 12%, today it's around 86%. I think the reason all these systems fail the majority of people in practice is partly based on this history. Time and again these systems benefit a select few at the expense of the many. Additionally we have two things at our disposal that didn't even remotely exist back then, instant global communication and a global…
I’m tired of them.
I turned in my two weeks notice to a job that underpaid me and they promptly let me go since I wasn’t able to do a 30 days notice. My final check was supposed to be in but it hasn’t hit my account and calling HR is a bust because for SOME reason they have only ONE HR person and she’s NEVER at her desk when you call the building. I hate all of them. Just want them to pay me my final check so I never have to talk to them ever again.
