I'm making minimum wage at the moment after moving 2000 miles for my family. And my child support payments are more than half my earnings. They are literally putting me in a position I'll end up homeless at this rate. I'm tempted to quit today. Why bother working for not even enough to live?

Negotiating Job Offer
Agreed with a new potential employer on a salary I'm happy with but was really hoping for a sign on bonus. They said they don't offer one for this position because it wasn't budgeted for. How would you negotiate around that? Only looking for ~$5k Edit: have not yet accepted or countered offer
You know, focus on preparation for Sabbath and make sure I don't ever come into work due to my religious beliefs. And if work should so question my actions or force me on a Saturday, I think I may take them to court for discrimination of my new religion. Fuck you corporate.
