Should I feel bad about quitting?
So I’m a MFG manager for a medical device company. I’ve been tasked to move a company to a different state. I’ve hired new employees and everything. The company has invested a lot of time and money into me, but I’m just not happy and I haven’t been in quite some time. I feel like I’m way underpaid and just don’t feel appreciated. I can’t sleep most nights due to anxiety and stress. My mental and physical state is deteriorating more and more because I never have time to work out anymore and when I do, I’m too stressed to do anything. I haven’t lived in forever seems like. I want to quit but I feel guilty. I’ve never quit anything in my life.

Then the owner of the business will make the same amount of money as their employees and will live out a good life as well as all of the employees. We would have normal businesses and other things and people would have a good, livable pay with no unnecessarily rich people.
Yesterday my company flew me and three other coworkers (including my manager) out for a COMPANY FUCKING PICNIC. I am underpaid and overworked and am in disbelief as to how ridiculous this is. I didn’t want to go in the first place but felt an obligation as a newish employee. After experiencing a delayed flight by three hrs an hr commute to the hotel and the ridiculous amount of money that was spent on funding this little trip I’m pissed.
Tip Culture is Horrible
I'm 16 and recently got my first job at a garden center in Texas. My technical job title is “loader” (loading the various plant, trees, and heavy bags of mulch, gravel, soil, and fertilizer we have to offer), and since it is a small, family owned and operated business my informal job title has stretched far beyond mere loader (I'm not part of the family btw). And I love it, my co-workers are fantastic, the customers are mostly kind, and I get compensated well for what I do by the owners. But my god tip culture is horrible. I was expecting shitty co-workers, bad customers, and poor pay going into my first work experience this year, but I never expected tip culture to be this bad. It's been 105+ degrees for the past month here in Texas, with our long-lauded humidity closely following fahrenheit's every move, and during this hell…
Bots, misdirections, infighting etc.
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. – Not Gandhi, probably. Point is – antiwork keeps growing and has become an actual threat. I observe attempts to misdirect or create infighting in the sub. Please be aware what we are being manipulated. Im also talking about the growth if the forum from antiwork to people complaining about their asshole bosses – thats also a bit of a misdirection, but I believe that came to be because forum got popular and people want to express their frustrations. Can we become more organized somehow? I am a member of trade union, I live in Finland, but I think we are still way off sustainable. I dont know yet how will we redistribute earths recourses and end pointless labor, but I am here to find it out. What I know is – we cannot…
