I want a work from home job so bad. I hate not being able to see my pets or husband during the work day. I used to go to school where my new job will be and parking is a nightmare. I have to share an office with someone. I have a full degree over the job requirements but they can’t give me any more pay for it. I’ve had the same job at a different school and while I like the work I just…I hate capitalism so much. I don’t want to grind and spend half my days in an office with people I don’t like, I want to be at home with the people and pets I love

Meirl and it’s true….fml
$620k HHI, but hate working.
I make $520k and my wife makes $100k. She doesn’t mind working…I hate it and would much rather attend to the house. However, I just can’t see how we’d live on her salary alone – between mortgage, pet, travel, etc. Who else keep working high stress jobs because they like the luxuries it affords?
Quitting during training
Hello all, I just started at a tech support company where they have you train for a little over a month. It seems fine so far but today it was implied that employees are basically competing against each other to resolve as many issues as efficiently as possible. Those who do better than others have better say on their schedule. It doesn't seem too bad but I fear that I may be very stressed out in such an environment and therefore I'd like to leave soon despite it's only been a few days since training started. I don't know when i'd like to leave since training is paid so I can stick around for a bit later to get paid and leave before actual work begins but how would this look on your resume? Would this affect tax forms? Thanks sorry for the silly post!
my jobs pay schedule is awful
My time card gets finalized tomorrow. Mid work week. I put in 86 hours on my timecard and none of it is overtime. I would get over 40 hours this week if it we weren't just getting paid the 7th and the 22nd. Sometimes its 16 days between paydays. It's a struggle.
Fuck these assholes, man. Thinking about it still makes my blood boil.
