I belive I was overpaid on a recent raise (some where around 3 dollars compared to .25 ), it's a bad situation, I don't know if they can reduce my pay, take money away from me, or even fire me for this. What should I do? (In wisconsin btw).

A genuine question
How come companys ask you your sexuality on job applications, what does this information provide in terms of doing my job?
Meeting with HR advice needed
I have been working night shift 6PM-6am for 5 years. 6 months ago a day shift became available , and my boss promised it to me. I was set to take the 9am-6pm shift effective as soon as a new night person was hired and trained. A new person was hired in July and my day start date was August. Unfortunately his job was pulled due to a failed background check so I stayed on nights. Another person was hired in August, and my start date was set for September. Now HR stepped in, overrode my boss and decided to give it to the other night shift worker. He has been here for 3 years. I sent HR an email saying “I’ve been talking with my managers about moving to days for a while, and was under the impression that once a night shift replacement was hired and trained, I…

Company has uncertified workers
For context: This is not in the USA, but the Netherlands. I work for a company that provides Security Services in a wide variety of locations. Currently our main locations seem to be refugee centers, hotels and events. I have my certifications for a while now, but it seems the majority of coworkers don't have it. I'm 28 and a big chunk of our staffing is around 19-20 working insane hours (sometimes 90 hours per week). I recently learned that the people in top positions in the company are friends of the owner/owner's wife and only a few of them actually have the required paperwork to actually work their job title. We have a guy who's job is to go about and rat on any worker not doing his job properly, however, properly in this case is judged by someone who doesn't even have the proper qualifications and certifications. So…
Walmart & shitty coach
So I am going to try to keep this short but it’s a long story. I have been working at my store for about over a month now. I worked here previously for almost a year and overall I love working at Walmart. I’m having serious issues with my coach though and I feel like I’m not in the wrong but I’m worried about getting terminated or a level 3 write up for poor management. I’d like to say first my store has great management and I love them all except for my coach and that’s the only one I dislike. When I first got hired, I made them aware I’m not the greatest at fast paced working environments but I will do my best to work with them and provide the best quality of work I can and I’ve been doing that on every shift since. I have only…
You Can’t Leave
You know, I've always had this fantasy dream of forming my own little town, or even a nation, where all the work available makes you feel like you have a purpose, like you're not just working for a few pieces of paper to buy some cheap processed food. But, then I thought about it one day and realized, I couldn't even pack my bags & just live out on my own. You can't go off and build a cabin cause if it's not private land it's likely “protected” by the government. You can't leave to another country without paying for a passport (plus the complexity of becoming a citizen in another country). You can't even float off to some random island without someone eventually showing up & telling you to leave. So we're all stuck here. With no choice but to work the rest of our days, starve, or go…
Worked as an assitant at a fast food company since January. Place was a nightmare. They made me close every night from 8pm to 4 am with just 1 line worker till he walked out and I had to do it alone for months with the promise of getting more workers. I'm a woman working alone and they made me post signs that I was all alone. Almost got robbed 5 times in 2 months. Made me work 50 hours scheduled every week with no overtime pay. They said if its scheduled they aren't required to pay me overtime. If they sent me to the bank or another store for product they made me clock out and did not pay milage no matter the distance. Since I was alone it took me till 6 am most days to finish cleaning. They made me clock out at 4am cause apparently “the…
