The other half of the salary is simply not mentioned in by letter. It just specified half the salary as “the salary” and then mentions a “discretionary year end bonus”. They don't write any number for that bonus. When I asked to put the number there they said they never do that on offers but I can trust them that I'll get what I have been promised. Basically if they didn't give me the other half, I'd have no paper trail of their promise since all of it has been oral. Idk what to do.

Just started work at a small office company in a senior position. We’re all working from home most of the time. But, it seems my new boss likes to dictate emails he wants me or my colleagues to write, and often to find emails for him (he has them too) we may have or even show the calculator app for him and tell us what sums to do. Neither of us are dummies and we have lots of experience so far in our careers (40+ ages). Today whilst dictating another email my colleague started to delete a sentence he wrote and the boss gave out a high pitched yelp telling him to no..no..no..no..no! What’s the problem with trademarking the logo name and slogan of my previous employer and then selling it back to him. Legal?
