I work at a very commonly known coffee shop and during this past week we’ve had this Corporate lady visiting us here from another state and is helping train new hires in the store as well as shift leads and management. She said today that if a cash register is short any cash the shift leads on duty is gonna have to split the difference between the workers closing that night and they’re gonna basically gonna pay out of their own pocket to make up for that lost money because according to her a deposit can’t be short. I know for a fact this isn’t legal and I don’t want to let her get away with this, where can I go to report this company and her? I am in Missouri.

I used to be conservative economically, yk like those don’t tread on me capitalist free market people. After having the worst experience at two restaurant jobs where I was exploited or made minimum wage, I‘ve experienced and seen enough. Fuck the rich, fuck those who don‘t want essential workers to live more comfortably and fuck anyone who sees nothing wrong with wasting your precious time making your unskilled boss richer. You guys supported me with kind words and empathy, something capitalists are not willing to do. I love y‘all

Title says it all. My boss pulled me aside after an ordinary shift and said those words: “Thank you my name, it was great working with you, but we‘ve decided that this was your last day here, because the vibes were just bad (LITERALLY THOSE EXACT WORDS) and please return your uniform.“ Y‘all I actually gave my notice a while ago and was supposed to quit mid September bc I couldn‘t stand it. I tried my best at work, I tried initiating conversations and be nice to everyone. My aunt died yesterday and they showed very little empathy. Fuck them lol. This is a thing to be celebrated. I‘ll show up in full glam with my best friend to hand in my uniform and then go eat out.
