my resume for mcdonalds
I'm due to start my new position as a team manager on Monday. I had a handover call with the outgoing team manager today and safe to say I'm panicking. A team of essentially brand new colleagues with a few senior ones with their own problems sprinkled in. I have also already been added to the rota to be in office and I was added for 3 days that I will struggle to do due to commitments out with work. In my current role I am only expected to be in office twice a month for reasons. On the handover call, I subtly applied for 2 roles within the company that were nothing to do with my current area, and were better paying. When I came back to my desk after my call I was told one of the managers was looking to speak to me, which I can only…

I work for a very wealthy family as a ranch manager. I’m the only full time employee and have been here a little over 6 years. For the most part I’m very happy with my job but an issue has come up that has me wondering if I want to be associated with these people. I work in the mid-west on the family’s ranch (their main residence) they also have a house on Pine Island in Florida, the location of the worst of the Hurricane damage. The head of the family happened to be at the Florida house during the storm and had to ride it out at a friends house after being evacuated from the island. He made it through safe and their house is one of only a handful left standing on the island. The very next day I was tasked with the job of readying a truck…
I just applied to a position that would utilize my college degree. I meet all the qualifications they listed on the job posting- I live in the right area. They sent me a reject email less than two minutes later. I sent them a follow up calling them out on this. (Normally I would let a rejection slide but the speed made me truly angry) They responded that I didn’t have experience in something that wasn’t even specified in the application. I’m sick of trying to get work when employers aren’t honest about what they’re looking for.
Got shafted out of a perfect job
I have been looking for a whole YEAR for a job I can just stick with and not have to fucking question every single day whether or not it's worth showing up. I FINALLY found it, got through all the interviews and all the assesments, most stressful 2 weeks of my life, I felt like I was having a constant anxiety attack. And it paid off, I was selected, I was finally able to take a breather and look forward to making some actual money and enjoying my work, until I called the manager and he told me the bad news that went along with the good. They had just been informed THAT VERY SAME FUCKING DAY that they were entering a company wide hiring freeze until November 1st. With the possibility of it lasting until January. The manager at least was nice and apolagetic and let me know he'd…
I wont say specifically where I work, but I'll say its a sandwich chain popular among pedophiles. Im constantly the only one stuck working by myself for hours and I hate it. I'm going to quit, but out of spite I really want to maximize damage so I'm gonna wait until I'm once again the only one working, then I'm just gonna walk out and quit, not even leave a text or phone call to the boss, just write a note that says I quit and tape it to the door or something. My question is, if someone decides to steal from the empty store or something, am I legally liable and will I get in trouble?
Pretty much the title. I'm on the verge of yelling to his face; “stop this bullshit or I'll headbutt you into your grave”.
