Plus interviewer kept interrupting me and has that smug “I know better than you” attitude. Guess I know what to say if they offer me the job and if they don't, at least glad I dodge a bullet here. I hate interviews and if I didn't need a job to give me income to live, I wouldn't even have bothered.

Is my job spying on me?
Hello, The company i work for has installed a program called “Symphony Agent” from Weston Digital Technologies. I read a bit about online and it seems to be a screen recording tool that can also analyze how an employee handles tasks. Does anybody know what this program actually does? My main concern is if someone can watch my screen or access audio from my mic without me knowing or analyze how much time i spend on different tasks. I am working remotelly and I'm worried that my privacy may be breached. I cannot disable the program myself btw.
Not sure how to summarize all the necessary information, but I'll do my best. The Company I work for is a very large, public corporation. They have a program where any employee may put in a suggestion for cost reduction, quality improvements, safety improvements, etc. If the company saves money as a direct result of your suggestion, you may be monetarily compensated, up to a limited amount. Here's where it gets hairy, though. An engineer who is in charge of overseeing the modifications might say that is not feasible, or profitable for the company to change their process… This is the default decision for all suggestions made through this suggestion program. You can then appeal the decision, but if they shoot the idea down again, the blue collar employee has hardly any resources available to them to argue their side. If blue collar Joe somehow found the extra time, energy,…
Is this really plausible?
A buddy from work recently got fired for seemingly no reason. And the rumors floating around wouldn't be grounds for immediate termination. If he were to sue for wrongful termination and they offered him his job back and he told them to go screw, would suing be off the table? Since, now, he has an opportunity to return to work and isn't by his own choice.
Changing my Working Hours?
I have been at my store for 5.5 years I am the main day person. For the last two years I have been full time, working the hours of 7am-3pm on average. My job is currently threatening to change my schedule to 11am-7pm, and have someone else who is already overworked take over my normal morning activities. I don't think I'm able to quit my job. I am a sponsor for my wife to immigrate to me in Ontario, Canada. Until we receive our AOR, I don't have a case file to send to update my work status. Is it legal to change my hours so drastically? Working those hours means I won't be able to see my wife at all throughout the week, which would really suck. This job does say evening and weekends availability is required, but this is a lot.
I will get fired today. I am sure of it. If there’s anything that I’m good at it’s connecting the dots… I am not too sad about it, but I just can’t shake off the feeling of anxiousness. It is very surprising to me, as up until now I received quite a positive feedback but it could have been just smoke an mirrors. I don’t know what I will do, honestly, as I am not prepared for this. It’s not a very constructive post, but I’m not here to do anything but getting this out of my system. I have legitimately no plans from now on, and furthermore I am unprepared for the next steps, but I suppose all I can do is keep my head up. That’s what I will do. I refuse to get emotional, or show that it’s affecting me in any way. Let’s see how today…
When you go to a job interview you are also interviewing them. Can we create a list of questions for employers that serves and empowers us and is serious and highly professional? I will also add a suggestion in the comments!
