I'm 24 F and can't work hard like others (my brother works 24/7) due to my disability (I have severe mental health issues) and rely on my parents. I just finished my marketing & entrepreneurship degrees, and did some job hunting on LinkedIn, until I stumbled across a great company I thought I'd fit right in at. They're a Healthcare software company in its infancy with a little over 100 employees, looking for a “marketing associate”, an entry position. I sent in my resume and got responded to pretty fast. I fit all the qualifications, and exceeded in others. From there, I began the interview phase. It started reasonably, talking to the lead hiring person at the company. Interview went great. Onto the head of the marketing department, again a slam dunk. Now I'm interviewing with the head of product marketing, and then three days later the CMO. i’m literally just typing this because i’ve been thinking about it all day and i just need to rant about it. my boss only comes in once a week, Tuesday mornings and he’s usually only there for a couple hours. i always bring a big coffee with me, and i drink a gallon of water a day so i pee a lot… like honestly i pee probably once an hour. so this morning i use the restroom, walk outside, and get immediately back to work. my boss approaches me and goes “hey, are you okay?” i looked at him confused and said “yeah.. why?” and he says “we just noticed you go to the bathroom, like, a LOT. and we just wanted to make sure you were okay” ?????? what????? first of all who is we?? is this a thing? have all my coworkers been talking about my frequent bathroom…

What are potlucks for, can you get in trouble for not participating in pot luck. Can they try to fire you secretly for not participating in that. Where does the rest of the money go to? Why should I join the potluck group and give money away every week. Job is requiring 10 bucks every week or two for pot luck. Every month I have to pay , multiply that by all the employees and when I see the receipt for food. Sometimes the food that was bought is less than the total amount of what everyone payed in total. Then they continue to do the pot luck every week or so, and the math is not adding up , where is the rest of the money going to.??? For sure perhaps some money is being pocketed.
