But my small business!
Any advice about unionizing?
For background I work on a team of 3 people myself, with one area manager and a couple regional managers, included in a location. It’s a city and the surrounding areas. We are essentially vendors/distributors. There are usually 2-4 markets per state depending on population and most states have less than 10 employees per state. It’s a relatively small company but they are definitely doing well. They don’t pay us very well. About 35k a year in my location. I had the thought cross my mind while browsing this sub. How would unionizing work? Would it be up to my team of 3 and our area manager? Would it be more regional? I live in a pretty progressive area with an open minded team and work for a somewhat progressive open minded company. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Do you hate Kayne and capitalism?
Maybe you should pressure all those companies to donate his products to charity.
Paying down debt is nice too. Fuck the man. Pay me for my work. Fml.
I got a call yesterday before my shift saying I’ve been suspended for allegedly “taking information that I shouldn’t have” and they are investigating it. I’m confused to what it could be but it may have something to do with when I get a onscreen prompt to update a customer credit card on file.
compost bin in the office
the office I clean wants to try an indoor compost bin again. Even though the first time it caused a huge fly/fruit fly issue. There is literally a roach problem in the building as it is. I mean they can fully do whatever they want. My question is, AITA if I leave the trash that the bugs flock to due them wanting to compost incorrectly. I'm not getting a face ful of bugs again. It's nasty.
