$400 per week?
Seriously, this isn't even minimum wage. Which is currently an abysmal $7.25/hr.
I grew up in a working-class immigrant household (on welfare and lived in the “hoods”). My parents had to go back to university and restart everything in America. Now that they have made it to the middle class they have caught a disease found commonly in America; greed. They just bought a duplex and are renting it at insane fucking amounts. The one-bedroom is going for $1,900 and they're even renting out the fucking BOILER ROOM for $700/month. My parents literally see nothing wrong with this despite being poor for most of our lives… What do I do? I don't want to be part of a family that has been poisoned by capitalism.

3hr rule with overtime?
Hi all, so I work full timee 9-5 monday to Friday. This weekend I'm being asked to work for an hr on saturday morning, 3 hrs in the evening and an hr on Sunday morning. I live in Canada Am I entitled to 6hrs total of ot on Saturday and 3 hrs on Sunday? Or is it something different, any sources would be appreciated

I don’t understand
Am I the only one who doesn't give a fuck about education or jobs? Like, I don't need high-powered cars and trips to other countries and all that.
There's only three of us in the team, the other is her husband. She ain't telling me it's her husband even though it's obvious as first thing I see if I searched her name is their wedding. I don't feel complimented rather I felt insulted. I'm the all-rounder in the team, everything graphics I do from 3d animation to web design. I asked for a raise recently and she told me she needed to pay her husband and me so it was hard but still referring her husband as team member and I'm only getting 15% raise next month even though my work has tripled. I know I'm worth more from all the things I'm doing but I just wanted to stay because of experience but I'll jump for a better salary honestly and a real “team”. Ever been complimented like this so you would stay?
