(Sorry for bad English, it's not my mother tongue) My boyfriend works as a craftsman in costumer service, means, he repairs stuff in houses. He officially learnt electrician, but also provides services in the fields of heating, air-conditioning and sanitary because his boss told him to do. He never officially got a licence for it, although he could get it now because of his experience. But his boss doesn't give the time to officially get it, because it means, that he cannot work at this time and he needs to pay him better. Furthermore, the company provides emergency service 24/7 and because my bf is the only one besides the boss who works in customer service, he needs to stay ready every second week. Heyo, just need to vent. I worked at a company for 8 years, 4 years as a corporate rep. I was always in the top sales in my city, usually 2nd in the province. My hours have always been 730-4 and a month ago new management decided to change my hours from 8-5. I talked to my day care and it was a no go to pick up my kiddos past 5. We tried to find new day care,no go. We even discussed my wife leaving her job to look after the kids but quickly dismissed it. They wouldn’t budge on the hours, not even like 730-430, so I emailed a competitor and had a new job within 2 days.
