I have a friend currently experiencing severe covid symptoms and would like to have an absence to get tested and obviously not make many people sick. They would also like to not use PTO since they have things planned such as doctors appointments. The policy revision above it a little long winded. I’m getting annoyed and frustrated by these employers flaking on interviews and rejecting after a very good interview. They want me to sacrifice myself for them but they won’t even show up to the interviews? Fuck them. I have been cussing them out through indeed and email.

Started working for them last week. Was thrown into the field without training and without knowing the software I’m supposed to chart on. I’ve been begging for training time on it so I can get caught up on my charting but they kept throwing more patients at me. I am confident in my patient care, I know I’m making a difference in that aspect. But the legal aspect I agreed to in my contract (like having patient charts updated within 24 hrs of a visit) I’m lacking in due to inadequate training and time. I worked 50 + hrs in 6 days last week when I signed up to work M-F 8-5. I got home after 8pm several of those days and didn’t have time for lunches for half of them. So I wanted to see what you guys thought about this situation. At my place of work we recently got a new assistant manager. Up until now the main branch manager has been wonderful and honestly the best boss I've had. This assistant manager on the other hand is terrible. First time management position and just doesn't understand how to work with people under her at all. She is condescending a lot of the times and sometimes even provided wrong information and when called out on it doubles down on her wrong information even when policy is presented to prove to her she is wrong. I was just approached at work saying that I need to bring $20 in tomorrow to help fund the birthday party my work is throwing for my boss. Mind you, this person owns several businesses in a metropolitan area. Do they really need my $20??? Was told “cash or Zelle is just fine” Not only do they take our time having us be here but now they want our money too?
