It seems like a week ago, this forum was infested by people who so obviously do not share the values of this forum Instead they post constantly about how unions are awful, how businesses deserve more grace, how workers have become entitled, and other anti-worker, right-wing baloney. Has anyone else noticed this? Do y’all think it’s time for a clean sweep?

I've become aware of some disturbing information over night that has emotionally fucked me up. Problem is I'm still considered a contractor and get no paid time off. My Supervisor has already texted me twice. I just haven't answered. I'd like to have someone tell them I'm in the hospital or something, just to be left alone. Then of course I'd have to prove it and submit discharge papers and shit. The monotony is endless! Just leave me be!

they didn't even wait to interview all their candidates before making the hiring decision twenty years of experience and i feel like a piece of shit

I was told today that I was through to the second interview today. The recruiter told me the good news and said he had asked for a description of the interviewers for the next interview for me. He said he was told by the HR Director, “Kevin is really charismatic, great to talk to, great individual…” all positive, and then, “Seth is different…I think he's on the spectrum to be honest. People find it hard to maintain eyecontact with him”. The recruiter then said, “I'm not sure if that's because he's crossed eyed maybe?” With a laugh. I was in silent shock…that the HR director would be talking about an employee like that..and with strangers. It is also really ablist. It grossed me out and instantly put me off the company. Some people have told me I should still go for the role as every company has people like that…
