So I live in Texas and the working conditions are pretty shitty here. My company only offers 5 days PTO no matter the seniority. Idk how anybody can function like I've been here for 4 years and never taken a day off I'm secretly planning a vacation with my family to their hometown, and it'll be 8 weeks. If they don't let me go, I'm quitting and moving to another State. But idk how to tell them this. Women here get pregnant all the time and are entitled to their 3 month FMLA without a question. I was thinking of saying of saying I need to take care of a family member and need FMLA leave. But I'm not sure if that'll pass. My brother suggested faking an injury or sm but Idk. Any suggestions??

I ask all of you to work equivalent to inflation. We are not getting paid more to live through inflation. Our work output should equal the value of the wage. True inflation in the US is between 10% to 15%. Work 10% to 15% less.
