Before me, they started with an office staff of 4. All the original staff has left, plus 4-5 more people who were there for a month or two and left. The problem is the manager, C. She isn't from the industry, doesn't care to learn about it, if you go to her for help she dismisses it and gives you more work. She's very condescending and doesn't like it if you know more than her or are popular with the technicians. She's a blonde skinny white woman in her 60s that thrives on male attention and this is a male dominated industry. Let me give you bullet points on what she's done so far since it's too much to write out. -C pushed out the last knowledgeable office worker (S), didn't bother to learn the scope of what she handled (which was everything) and tried to spread lies about S…

I’m just curious about this sub
I don't mean to sound rude on this post in any way. I you don't work you can't get money, when you can't get money you can't get food. We all know not having food leads to starvation. If you don't work you can't pay your taxes. If you don't work are shutting down small businesses one by one until only the big businesses are left which have pretty high prices making them so you can't afford them. if you don't work then what do you do to get money to provide for you and your loved ones? If your just sitting on your butts scrolling through reddit in your parents basement you will get no experience for anything.
sour little rant.

Two years (near enough) of working from home, my quality assessments skyrocket. Who knew that without having to deal with the distractions and idiocy of coworkers in the office environment, I am a happier person and it shows in my work. Of course, like so many of us who've seen similar, the joy ride's over and WFH is now to be ostracized. The company /own/ the building we work out of, outright. The London office, probably not. But they want folks back in the office and it needs to be 'fair'. In yesterday as part of my hybrid mandatory requirement to be there. Catch sight of a colleague I'd not seen in ages. We did the small talk…
